  1. Hello there, I have come across your site by accident, as I was searching for a cross stitch group in or around the Ipswich area.

I am really wanting to learn to cross stitch, and was wondering whether you know of any groups that are currently up and running, so far my search via the internet has proved fruitless.

By the way, it has proved interesting reading about you, so good luck, and if you know of anything please let me know.

    Yours sonia.

  2. Hi there,
    Have you left facebook??
Recently got back into doing a bit on the Afghan cross stitch that you inspired me to start!!!! Having completed a couple of squares after hmmm some 10 months or so, I couldn`t find the group. It must have been you there can`t be two matching your description with so many talents living in that area!
Did you ever finish your Afghan, or is it stashed away somewhere to be pulled out at a later date? I have masses of WIP stuff but seem to get less and less time to do anything these days, increased work hours , three grandchildren,( almost four )and parents who need more and more assistance!!!

    • Hi Linda,

Apologies for the long delay in replying. The group is still on Facebook however it is not very active and I am contemplating deleting it! I never got to finish mine, as it is too hard to cross stitch with my son running around, so it has been shelved till he is a bit older and I will bring it out then!

      Best wishes

  4. At last!

After much searching, thanks to Steve from Philofaxy, I’ve eventually managed to find out who’s the craftyfax was at the meet.

The photo with your filofax looked very interesting… what was the page in the photo? It just looks like the sort of thing that could be useful to me.
