Have not managed to do too much as I am having loads of trouble sitting at the moment, so just do small amounts on it.
Hoping to try and get loads done this weekend, but we shall see! I do like how it is coming out!
A bit late in posting this but hey ho, time to catch up! LOL!
Well Friday 18th April, my brother came down and spent the weekend with us, before the baby arrives. He arrived at about 330pm and we immediately went down the framing shop to get my mom’s recent cross stitch finished as well as my wedding sampler. So I collect them in about 3 weeks! I can’t believe my mom’s discipline, she only does one cross stitch at a time and does not start a new one till it is finished! To have the restraint!
My weekend was a weekend of firsts! I managed 5 altogether, and here they are :
1. Went to a local art gallery with Gavin on Saturday, that is round the corner from my house. I keep meaning to stop in and never do. So seeing as Gavin is an artist as well I thought what a great reason. So I took him! It was lovely and the lady who runs it is South African so we got on really well!
2. Drove down a particular road that I have wanted to drive down for 4 yrs!
3. Took Gavin to a local Fish shop, again is really close to my house but we just never stop in and have a look!
4. Went to a new restaurant for dinner on the Saturday night, which was just lovely!
5. Went to a new Farm Hall on Sunday and had lunch in their restaurant and tried their local produce!
So my 5 new things!
Overall the weekend was great fun, and I had a blast, but I was exhausted by Sunday night and just really needed to rest.
My brother enjoyed himself as well, which is always the most important!
Here I am at 35weeks in my pregnancy glory! Wow, I am getting big! 5weeks left, provided Sixpence arrives on time! Things are still going well, and Sixpence is still top of its charts for growth etc, but that is fine!
I am still working, although have reduced my hours slightly. I find walking, bending and standing rather hard to do at the moment, but other than that it is great!
We have now come to the end of all our courses, having done Hypnobirthing, Breastfeeding and Parentcraft, oh and 2 ward tours! So we are more than prepared!
I have still to pack my hospital bag, which I will do, but I keep delaying it, not sure why, I think it then signifies a closeness to possible hospital time! LOL!
Well I have my midwife checkup tomorrow, and from now on weekly I think!
So I am going to sign off here, as Sixpence is hiccuping and kicking and it is making sitting a bit uncomfortable! LOL!
Married life has been wonderful and I would not swop it for the world! Who’d have thought that marriage can make you feel so contented, safe and happy!
So hubbie and I went out for a lovely meal last night to celebrate, and spent the day texting saying now one year ago we were doing……….
One big difference is the weather! Last year it was 24 degrees, and this year it was about 12!
Well to my husband, thank you for making me your wife, and for accepting as I am, and giving me a wonderful first year! Here are to many more! I love you!
Not alot of difference, but I just did not feel like doing anything! Still loving it, but needing to find my stitching mojo.
I am just so tired that when I sit and stitch I find I want to just doze off!
Will post another update on Friday and hopefully it will be further along!
